Vital to Know
* If you or your spouse are aged 80 yrs or over you are not automatically covered, you must contact the Garda Travel Club before each trip.
* Members with a Medical Condition must call Medical Screening on 01 5337354 within 14 days of booking each and every trip.
* The maximum Single Trip duration is 31 days. If you are aged between 19 and 69 years you can extend your trip duration up to a maximum of 60 days however, there will be an additional premium charged.
* Your policy document is hugely important – ensure you read it and keep it safe – we suggest keeping it with your passport/travel documents.

Ensure you have the correct Contact number and your insurance policy number to hand. For other required information, please refer to your policy document.
In your purse, wallet, or passport, you may have a card with ’emergency medical assistance’ telephone numbers. If so, you should discard these as they are no longer relevant. Please refer to your new policy document for all the contact numbers you will require.
Are You Covered? Insurance cover commences on receipt of a completed membership form, however if you are intending on travelling shortly after joining, please contact the Club to obtain an insurance policy prior to departure. Please also be aware that if you are planning a holiday such as motorcycle
touring abroad you must increase your cover which may be subject to an additional premium charge. Please ensure you contact us before travelling if intending to take part in any sports activities or unusual activities.
IT IS IMPERATIVE TO CHECK THAT YOUR SUBCRIPTION IS BEING DEDUCTED AT SOURCE, TO ENSURE THAT YOU ARE COVERED UNDER THE INSURANCE SCHEME. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE YOU HAVE ADEQUATE INSURANCE COVER AND WE ARE HERE TO HELP YOU ORGANISE THIS IN ANY WAY THAT WE CAN.
Residency
This policy is only available to you if you are permanently resident in Ireland and have been for the past six months prior to the date of issue.
Maximum Age Limit Cover available up to 79yrs. WE ASK YOU TO CONTACT US BEFORE TRAVEL ONCE YOU HAVE TURNED 80 YEARS OF AGE.
