Orlando Sun – For Everyone

From ages 8 to 80 – Orlando has something for everyone.  In the middle of the ‘sunshine state’ of Florida, it really does offer a complete array of top holidays, all of which can be arranged through the Garda Holiday and Travel Club.

With temperatures which Irish visitors won’t find overpowering at an average of 23°c, (73°f), Orlando has 7 theme parks, countless golf courses and 12 shopping malls, all within easy reach of wherever you choose to base yourself.   Additionally, it offers numerous other sporting, recreational, cultural and historic attractions, not to mention catering for all dining tastes and offering top class nightlife and spas.

Family Fun
If Shrek, the Simpsons, or Spider-Man give you giggles and thrills, then a visit to the Universal Studios Theme Parks are a must.   Or visit some of the four Walt Disney World Theme Parks and see the kids eyes widen as imagination becomes reality for them.   Discovery Cove, SeaWorld and Aquatica afford you the contrasts of observing sea life gliding gracefully through the water or your own family sliding not quite as gracefully down one of the many water slides.   If you have the time and the energy for multiple visits to a variety of theme parks, there are multi-ticket options available.

Shopping and Golf
Shhhhh – ladies don’t say it too loud, but don’t pack the suitcase to the brim before you leave home!   Did you know Orlando has some of the finest shopping around?  From top department stores, to one of the largest outlets in Florida.   And while you indulge yourself with goods for your suitcase, why not pack himself off to one of the 176 golf courses for the day.

Accommodation
A huge range of accommodation awaits you in Orlando.   From the 5star Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club and Lodge, to a theme park resort hotel, to your own villa, with private pool.   It all depends on the type of break which suits you.   Your preference might be either to be waited upon in one of the many hotels or the flexibility of your own accommodation.   Unless you are staying on-site in one of the theme park resorts, you should also budget for car hire, which costs from €150 per week.

So, for sun in the sunshine state, call us at Garda Holiday and Travel Club, and we can help you realise what is bound to be a truly unforgettable holiday.
